Carnutt, I have my 64 handling very well now.
I've found the following to work well,
-Addco large front sway bar, no rear bar needed.
-AGR 12 to 1 steering box with new rag joint from Ames.
Bleed the AGR steering box WITHOUT the pitman arm connected, turn it lock to lock about 200-300 times to bleed all the air out.
-Scarebird front Disc brake conversion. http://www.scarebird.com/7009.html
-225/70-15 Firestone Firehawk 500 tires on 15" rims of your choice. Firestone also makes a great V rated tire called the Firehawk P-V tire thats used on Police cars.

I used vintage Americans but there are many well made new rims out there like the Radir, American, E-T ect.
-Replace the ball joints with Moog or Rare units.
-Replace the idler arm with a Moog or Rare unit.
-Upper and lower control arm bushings with Moog or Rare rubber joints.
-Bilstine shocks but the rear shocks will need heavier studs pressed in.
-Align the car at 0 to 1 degree positive caster, 1/32 toe in and 0 to 1/2 degree negitive camber.

Good luck, thats a great looking car!
