My 1970 TA was delivered new to Winnipeg Manitoba Canada [emoji1063].
It’s PHS definitely calls out “Trim Rings”.
I presume the trim rings going in the trunk would be a theft deterrent during transport. Then the dealer would install as part of their pre-delivery cleanup and prep.
Do you happen to know the percentage of 1970 TAs that had factory trim rings?
