I had the timing locked at 30 and decided to drop down to 28. I picked up a .1 in the 1/8 and 1.39 in the 60 ft and 6.49. I was surprised how much it picked up, all this time i thought 30 was where it needed to be. I tried 27 and lost .05 so went back to where it was.

Cool ! 28 is the place to be for you. Can you tell us more about the engine. The High Port engine I am doing is pump gas, 4500 with a 1050 also.
