There were different styles used at different times on these carbs. Sometimes the number began with "70" and sometimes not. At certain times the font used was smaller. And the styles might change during the same model year.

I used to have a style chart with pictures that I linked to but it is gone now it seems. Does anyone have it? I should have tried to save it years ago.

The best way to be sure is to reference a known authentic factory carb. Kenth and a few others also have a lot of knowledge about these so they are good sources too.
