Leaving cars as-is is a big trend these days. That car is a perfect candidate. Not rusty, very complete. Detail it inside and out, new rubber, address any mechanical issues and drive it. I would not take that car all apart just to make it “nicer”. It’s a 4D HT, which really helps vs. a 4D Sedan, but it’s not a 2D or a conv. So chose your path wisely.

Pay someone to detail it, buff it out and all that. Have a trusted friend that knows engines and chassis determine what needs attention. New tires, belts, hoses (not the flex type), brakes etc.

Took me over 20 years to do full frame off on my 65. You can have that car running and driving in a month or less and enjoy it. You’ll get a lot of lookers at shows if it u restored vs. becoming a trailer queen.
