Default Subjective value question - non original blocks

My GP convertible project will be starting up next year. My poor GP is a mess, but I have been dragging it around since 1983 when I bought it for $750, and it will return to the road. The car will be restored, but not to original spec. That is the basis of my question.

If I am not restoring the car to original drive train spec (400/auto), does it matter to future value if I am using a "correct" WG code 428HO, or a SR 428HO block? I already have a complete 428HO SR engine, and access to a +0.060" over 1967 WG HO block and crank.

I have no delusions that I am going to see any "profit" from this car other than enjoying it configured as I would have ordered it. It's just that "correct" 1967 WG HO blocks do not come up for sale too often, so if I am going to pull that trigger, might as well do it now. When the estate gets settled in (hopefully) 30+ years down the road, will it matter?
