GTO Radio Antenna on Boat--not car related
I have a '64/65 A body antenna assy. left over from my two restorations. Would a car antenna work well on a fiberglass boat for a Pioneer AM/FM radio? The 36" wire supplied by Bayliner for the radio antenna is horrible.
Is there an issue with car-type antennas on a fiberglass boat due to the lack of a metal mounting surface (ground)?
IN any case, what's the best way to get decent radio reception on my boat?
