The '63 had the aluminum front end removed to repair another car and then our car was scrapped.

The '64 was sold, complete with all our speed tricks and equipment (tow bar brackets, suspension mods, slicks in the trunk). Supposedly someone "back east" (Connecticut or somewhere) purchased the car. It could still be out there.

Dad did not like the '66s as well as the '65 so he left the GTO at home when he went down to look at them. He ended up running a '66 OHC Sprint for that year (got it into the 12's) and then gave it back. We didn't really own that one so I never include it in the chronology.

We ran our car in '67 in B/Modified Production, which allowed better heads, the later tripower and wider 9" slicks. The car went 12.20 in this configuration and is essentially how it sits today.

For '68 we got a Silver or Springmist Green GTO, with black painted up around the back window and on the decklid. That was our last Pontiac, as Dad was getting a bit soured on the whole deal with Royal.
