Is this 1985??? There are no modern tires in 245/60-15 or any usable size in 14", 15" or 16". If you are still running BFG Radial TA's, Cooper Cobras, or Kelly Charger HR's, you are 30 years behind the curve. 17" wheels will not get you a tire with enough height to fill the wheel wells.

My '70 GP has 245/45-18 front and 275/40-18 rear. Both are 26.7" tall (245/60-16 is 26.6"). The car rides, handles, and brakes like a dream. Literally, the ride is less harsh and more quiet plus the car can actually handle and brake with reasonable performance.

Do yourself a favor, step up to 18" wheels and into the future with contemporary tech tires. You will not regret it.
