Here’s our subject to change for the better, plan for your INJUN WARS Pontiac Drag Racing Series.
Pontiac Racers, here’s how you can compete for a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in your Class.
Step 1 - Sign up and agree to display the INJUN WARS decals at all races. This brings awareness to the Series attracting more racers and more sponsors.
Step 2 - Race where you already race. Big Bucks Brackets, NMCA, PDRA, NHRA, IHRA, Heads Up or whatever. Earn the payout your track already offers. Earn 1 Point toward the CHAMPIONSHIP for every round win. Be prepared to present your timeslips.
Step 3 - When we get together for INJUN WARS 2019, all the points you have accumulated will be tallied and we will have various Classes racing for WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in 16 Car Fields. Field sizes may be adjusted based on participation.
The Racer with the most points in the Class will be the Number 1 Qualifier, the Racer with the 2nd most points will be the Number 2 Qualifier, on down to the Racer with the 16th most points being the 16th Qualifier.
Eliminations will be on a Sportsman ladder except for Heads Up Classes that will use a Pro ladder.
Once Eliminations begin, Points will be adjusted to the Number 1 Qualifier beginning with 16 Points, the Number 2 Qualifier beginning with 15 Points, all the way down to the 16th Qualifier beginning with 1 Point.
Racers can earn a possible 35 Points with 5 Points for each round win and a 15 Point Bonus to the winner and eventual WORLD CHAMPION of the Class.
All Points earned at INJUN WARS 2018 carry forward toward your Point total for INJUN WARS 2019. Get a jump start on the next season. With a possible 35 Points, it’s like winning 35 rounds at your local track.
With only 1 HUGE event, we can include a car show, car corral, swap meet, new parts vendors, etc., PLUS all the sponsor and spectator support will make for the kind of PAYOUTS you deserve.
Please plan on attending our first race, June 16th & 17th, 2018 at Lucas Oil Raceway (Indy) to join in the fun and help us create your Series.
