Sorry we didn't meet at Chula. I wanted to meet as many of you on this board as possible, but met very few. Even though these conventions are several days long, we're all busy looking at cars and parts, without the time to seek out friends from this board. At this convention, my wife & I worked at registration and lunch for the volunteers for 16 hours, so there was even less time to socialize.
I sold the '65 and the '66 setups, along with two separate end carbs.
The parking lot arrangement, with judged cars on one end of the property and popular vote/swap area on the other end, left a lot to be desired. I still have no idea why Chula Vista or whoever made that decision, but it was a bad one. Many people complained about that, while the rest of the convention went very well.
