on the ones I parted over the years, I think I found 3 different thicknesses of braces. TA's were always thick, but found formulas with thick(if had TA suspension) and medium thick (if base suspension), then base birds with real thin ones. it has been years since I got to work on any as have been overseas off and on since 2009. I know 1973's are 1 year only as are longer, and it might be 1975 where the different thicknesses started????
believe the elbow like he has started in 77 when they went to the small tube like brace.
