I've become quite an expert in '68 dashes having taken mine apart 4 or 5 times in the last few months to get my gauges and dash dialed in. I dreaded that project for months, but I've done it so many times I feel like I could do it in an hour now.

I'd bet most of the used gauges you'll find will be aged and the marks will be discolored to some degree. I thought my original was in perfect condition until I looked closer, you can see how it's discolored compared the gauge face. For whatever reason the smaller fuel, oil and temp gauges seem to discolor faster than the faces. You may consider having Pete Serio restore your original depending on your expectations.
