Yes it is very valuable. I had one rebuilt by Cliff a few years back and he authenticated it and claimed it was worth about 4K! Cliff told me to insure it for at least that when I shipped it to him. There is some documented date codes seen on the 29273 carbs but I can't recall at the moment if this date code is one of them. You can research this on PY to find out. Further, this is one of the most counterfeited carbs for Pontiacs so be careful. There have been stories circulating around that some rebuilders swap out these rare carbs and send a counterfeit one back to the owner. That is how valuable these carbs are.
