Man! I'm all over the place on this one;

'64 - first year of the original musclecar
Dual side by side headlamps make it look wider
Prefer the engine turned dash insert to the woodgrain (even though I had the woodgrain dash in the car when I received it from the zone office. The car now has the engine turned dash again.
Spinner hubcaps were just cool, had the aluminum wheels, etc but the Spinners are my favorite.
My 64 is Grenadier Red with a White Convertible top and looks great.

The Dash mounted tach and instrumentation was better as far as reading the tach.
The engine was better on the 65 cars, everyone says on the cars but no real vote on that deal. (I owned a 65 and 66 at the same time as the 64 for a while). All were Tri-power 4 speed cars.

So I vote 64 because it was the original, it was my first Pontiac, I still own it. I found out it is actually very rare, and it is paid for and in great condition.
