Personally...
the '64 wins out with the twin scoops and wood wheel. Tail light treatment is more appealing to me as well. Love the '65's...but they had already started getting heavier by then. "Functional air scoop"? Even opened up with a pan...the two inches of dead air above the hood renders them essentially non-functional. Seems like they wanted the '65s to look like little Bonnevilles what with the wood grain and extra chrome. JMHO.
