Reviving this thread instead of asking the same thing.

Next project is installing an auto console into my car that is missing the console. Current car has bucket seats, carpet and a Hurst quarter stick shifter, no console. I hate the quarter stick and want to replace it with the QuickSilver and console from my donor car.

My donor car with the console never had carpet. Does the front console bracket and shifter mount to the floorpan, and then the carpet fits around them? Do the rear console mounting screws go through the carpet and into the floor? Any pics showing fitment and mounting would be great.
