Well, all the 68-70 Pumps are the same Pump, unless i dreamt this, i have seen 3 different regulator inserts:
Big Car got 1600 psi
GTO got 1400? psi
Firebird got 1200 psi.
Surely i put the high pressure regulator in my birds, and probably the GTOs.
Have no experience with GM pump squeals. Thought only Fords did that.
The light wheel feel has been great, no belt squeals with the toothed V-belts.

Half-inch, thanks for the reply. I am going to see if I can get the PS pump with the higher regulator.
The last pump I ordered from OPGI for my 65 GTO was the wrong one to fit my application and had to send it back. I was able to get one from Rock Auto that fit. Not sure what PSI it was. May have been the lower one.
I don’t recall any of those places stating what PSI regulator.
Do you have any suggestions to where I can get one?
