1992 (and others) A/C bearing replacement
I'm wondering if someone can help me;
I recently purchased the one cool truck that my grandfather bought (he used to buy new vehicles every couple years);
It's a 1992 Chevrolet 'Sport' 4x4.
Yes, I realize this is a third gen Firebird subforum, but please bear with me for just a moment longer before you check out;
This post is purely about replacing the a/c condensor bearing - this unit should be the exact same unit used for most of the third gen run.
I can find online tips and video for replacing the condensor clutch assembly, but I cannot find anything about the actual bearing on a GM a/c condensor.
I can find two types of bearings (one sealed) for this job;
Can anyone give me any tips on what might need to be done, or any special tools I might need after I get the pulley and clutch assembly out of the way?
Maybe someone knows of or has a link to a guide?
Thanks in advance for humoring this post.
