We also called them swizzle sticks. When I was a kid my parents would go to dinner every Saturday night. Pop would wear a coat and tie and mom would dress nice (unlike now days, I was at dinner last night and there was a slob in his best t shirt and flip flops, sorry im digressing). He would order a cocktail and bring the swizzle stick home to me. They were plastic and usually had some kind of logo on them. I even had some from different airlines.
