What rear end gears do you have?
I once had a Turbo 400 built with a 2.75 first gear set and ran this with a 2.56 rear end. I used to race WRXs at 140-150, this was in a 64 Bonneville with a 462.. Frankly I think the combo would of been much better off with the 068 cam in stead of the 041 and a 2.73 or a 3.08.. But it worked well. It had a Continental 13" converter and was shifter with a Hurst Autostick I. It was a real nice street set up..
