I am late to this thread but its right on for me since I may be getting my old 66 Bonneville.
I loved the sound of my old 64 Bonnes 389 with Ram Air Long Branch manifolds, mandrill bent 2-1/2" exhaust system and Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers #17749..
Its hard to beat the good old 068 cam in one of these Pontiac motors.. I never understood why Pontiac people had to over cam Pontiac motors over the years. I've seen it happen so many times and I've done it myself but quickly pulled the big cam out and put the 068 back in lol... I liked the Nunzi 2041 version but I think they are all long gone..
