It was WKNR that Jim Wangers did the tie in with the 1966 Geeto Tiger program. In fact the Mystery Tiger, John Politzer, raced Dick Purtain who never shifted out of first and over rev'd one of the GTO's causing some bent push rods and valves. LOL Oh the good old days.
One Year during the Dream Cruise I delivered Jim Wangers' Art work of the Geeto Tigers' at Motor City Dragway with a message to Dick Purtain and Al "Muskaveto" Muscovitz (whom I'm freinds with) "We still remember". Al made sure the story got on the air.
