The casting number appears to be 523xxx possibly a 56/57 intake.
Appears to be cast iron also.
With the extra mounts being on the 4 pairs of intake runners, and being straight shot mostly, it would help at higher RPM I would think.
I'd say the 2-4 intakes made for the SD engines would be a better choice though.
