For the longest time, I loved the 64 spinner, but after having many cars with that wheel cover, and still run them on 2 of my '64s. I started to like the wheelcovers I don't see very much, and found an nos set for my '66 GTO when I decided I didn't like the Hurst wheels on there any more.

More recently I have become attracted to the '67 spinner. After buying a few sets, I was able to put together 4 decent ones. Chris, who started this thread, had an nos one that gave me the correct color for the inserts. Prior to that I had thought it was argent silver, but its actually the charcoal grey used on the ralley II wheels. As it was applied/dusted on the caps in production, the grey pigment was lost very quickly, and most of them appear silver or light grey. I have had some people comment that it looks like "a modern wheel".
