These shocks are excellent for tuning your suspension for a level launch. We used them on the car in my avatar. By staggering the extension/compression adjustments, you can tailor how the four corners of your car react to the torque applied to the chassis when a vehicle hooks up and launches. They control the twist normally seen with stock suspension.
You do have to remove them to compress the piston to make changes; however, I fabricated a tool to do them on the car.
