When I had the engine in my 75 Trans Am replaced I added the three standard gauges under the dash. In deciding what direction I'll take my 69 Firebird, I was planning to install the 69 stacked gauges I've been hoarding for some time. After much consideration, I've decided to sell the stacked gauges and install idiot lights. When your idiot light turns red, you'll know it immediately. With gauges, you might miss something for a few minutes. I guess I really don't mind the look of the three gauges under the dash... all my cars I had in the 70's had them.
