Couple of updates.
1. It took four windshields, yes, four, but I finally have a windshield in place with the window moldings on.
2. I read the postings about using a VIR eliminator. I went ahead and bought one from Classic Auto Air. Works very well. Blows cold. I need it here in Western North Carolina. It's been hot.
Other than that, I've been driving it. Lots of fun and gets lots of great looks/feedback. Will be taking it to a local show this weekend.
