curious to see how the nvh foam works out. hadn't heard of it. I see it has a 60 min work time so it must be pretty thin. read that its used between panels prior to installing a panel so sounds thin? I would like to put extra support "blobs" between the hood skin bracing as well.

I'm thinking the flexible 3m seam sealer in black will work. I used it quite a bit. expensive but really hardens yet flexible. not runny either.

I shouldn't admit this but did something very silly. on my 69 Gto hood I had this idea that black roofing caulk would simulate the blobs and be flexible and work great. I squeezed some out and it seemed perfect and i figured being for roofs would be heat tolerant.

after driving it the next day, luckily by chance I popped the hood for a maintenance check, well the roof caulking was dripping down all over the place! boy that was a bummer cleaning all that. I was cheeping out thinking I outsmarted things.
