I had the guy at the last Greensboro store scan the 14" 40V Kobalt and it stayed at $199 {listed shelf price}. So not in the secret squirrel sale ... yet.
That is the one i really wanted - for going up high in the trees.

The GreenWorks saws i listed are already being superseded by Gen II model that are already on the shelves (no discounts on Gen II).

Can't explain the 18" Kobalt or 12" Craftsman being discounted so much.
Guessing the big Kobalt's are about to get an upgrade, and the Craftsman probably being discontinued soon.

The 2 corded electric Craftsman saws were not deep discounted.
One of them (16" or 18") had an advertised $5 price drop, the other (14") was regular shelf price.

Sears is only listing one electric (Craftsman) saw on their website.
The same corded electric (16/18) that Lowes is selling

The 16" 60V GreenWorks is noticeably lighter than the 18" Kobalt.
Good cut numbers and ratings even with 2Ah battery.
Brushless, Chain Brake, 4year/4year warranty

The Greensboro stores were 30 & 40 minutes away from me.
My local Lowes is about 4 minutes from me.
I went to Gboro #1 to get the GreensWork 16" saw, while there - discovered the Craftsman 12" and Kobalt 18" 2Ah were also deep discounted. So it was worth the trip.
Went to Gboro #2 to source another GreensWork 16" for a friend - but they had none.
2 more stores in Gboro but it was too late to go check them.
