Well guys , its dog eat dog on the clearance prices of these saws.
All i can do is wish you well at your local store.

Spent all this morning running all over with my friend to get him 2 saws - at the RIGHT Price.

Our local Lowes has 2 of the 18" 80Volt 2Ah saws left ,,, but they wouldn't sell another one for the $155 secret squirrel clearance price. Went back up to $269 on it.
But they will still sell the $399 5Ah's for $233 ?
Friend wants the $155 18" deal saw.

A good bit of "discussion" took place with 2 people who were said to be Manager and Asst Manager of the store.
Too much to tell.

So off we go to all 4 Greensboro stores.
Store #1 had a display 2Ah last night, but said they wouldn't sell the displays.
Store 2 , 3 and 4 didn't have one at all.
One was located in Kernersville ... for $195 , too far and too much -- for him.

Store #3 did say he was selling the $399 5Ah's for $219.45
He had 4 of them.
So i bought one - so that i could take the $233 one back to our gracious and loving Asheboro store and tell them to Shove It .

Store #4 had one left of the 16" GreenWorks he wanted for $149

Went back to Store #1 and got a different day shift person.
Talked him into selling me their 18" 2Ah display without a box for $145.
They made special note it was "no-box display" on receipt.
Sold my friend the new one i had in the box for what i paid. $155 + Tax
And we all sang kumbaya

I was just going to use the 18" 2Ah as a guinea pig to see if i liked it and really needed it.
If i like the 18" saw, i plan to only keep the 5Ah anyhow .

The prices are unpredictable amongst the stores.

18" 80Volt with 5Ah can be $279, $233 or $219
18" 80Volt with 2Ah can be $269, $195 or $155
16" 60Volt GreenWork was $149 at all the stores. But none left.
12" 20Volt Craftsman can be $179 , $101 or $71
