What you're calling the "Heat Riser Chimney Hose" should be black. They are available from Ames, part #FN406RB and are called a "Pre-Heater shroud to air cleaner duct."
As for the master cylinder, I believe it should be black. However, it would not surprise me if others opined that it should be gray.
