Here's a pic from today showing work in progress. The plan is to cut out the heater/blower hole area and replace with a flat panel, similar to what Singleton showed. The difference is I want to do a 2-piece. One welded in place of the heater/blower and the other bolted over the evap box hole.
Was there a gasket between the evap box and the firewall? How was it sealed? I could use the gasket for a pattern, if there is one.
