Hey guys,

First time for me posting on this forum, I'll try to make it short and sweet.

When I go to turn my windshield wipers on via the left side rotating switch next to the steering wheel the wipers function properly (granted some of the speeds don't seem very accurate). The problem arises when I go to turn the switch to the "off" position, the wipers will continue to run in the same speed even though the switch if off.

My question is, for this Firebird model, was the timing controls and relay or diode inside the wiper motor itself? Could a new motor fix this problem? Or is this just a wiring problem?
