it should be in the first loop closest to the battery and almost touch the second loop according to the assembly manual. From that pic it would make sense to me if they'd just added an inch and gotten it into the second loop. I've seen/had some of these repop loops that are too small compared to the originals that easily fit both the harness and the cable in there.
