The Holley looks like a good unit. It's software is superior to that of the FiTech. 32x32 ve table vs the FiTech's smaller table. It's either 8x8 or 12x12. Compared to the smaller FiTech table, there's a lot less interpolation going on. It should fuel a bit more accurately.

One big hang up with the system is it currently doesn't have a can bus which means you can't get laptop or tablet access to the software like you can with FiTech.

Hardware is quite similar, if not nearly identical in some of its components.

I think the sniper may end up being the better "out of the box bolt on and go" option where the FiTech allows for more user adjustment.

I would expect future sniper models to include a cam bus feature and there's rumors of a software update to the FiTech coming as well.

I don't really think you can go wrong with either in this market. Pick your poison.

I don't believe so. Last I heard it's still pretty hard to get the base sniper right now. I'm not sure if that's still the case or not.

I could honestly see Holley not offering an 8 injector system. It starts competing against the terminator at that point. That's speculation though. If they are aiming to compete against FiTech across their product range, they'll have to.

I've been seriously considering running E85, likely do a carb first. Want/need an 8 jector unit. Just from the little I have looked at the Holley system, handheld looks way more 'modern' looking. By the time I am ready there will likely be something new out. I keep breaking myself, Sucks getting old-er!

I don't recall which one, but this was addressed on a Chevy forum recently. One of the longtime FITech guys switched over to Holley. I don't remember exactly how much, but the Holley system was noticeably quicker at the track, first trip to the track was quicker than the best the FITech ever ran.

non-scientific of course, but interesting comparison. He claims temps about the same, but even at the same temp, DA can fluctuate by a decent bit.

I can't say I'm surprised though, the Holley has had two years of development advantage on the FiTech, so it should be better in most regards. As the uer does point out, most everything in the software is still locked until Holley releases a tool to access it. The software IS better, it's just you can't do anything with it yet, which is unfortunate.

I had heard that it took awhile to get the Sniper so that is one downfall to start with . I was just doing a comparison of the 2 for installation ease mostly . Lots of great info . Thanks
