Retro bath tub
Had time to mock this up today. Ports are a little narrow and short compared to a 320ish ehead (bmf eheads who knows what he sold them
As ) But I had been wanting to see if the Holley sniper efi throttle bodies would fit and I stumbled onto a set in the box this week so I brought my intake and son of a gun they fit w a ton of room to spare and they have both bolt patterns so no adapters needed The throttle arm just wisps the top of the intake but two gaskets might give it enough clearance if not just a little touch of a grinder. Also I am currently running a gutted hei but will switch to small body distributor when I install this, as a large Cap is a no go incase anyone was wondering So my questions are: is anyone running one of these on a 505 pump gas set up? Also has anyone test fit the intake and carbs on a 69 bird? I know it will fit on my gto but I'd like to put these on my Firebird if there is clearance. I'm going to do some tape measure work too

Looks awesome! If you can get a height measurement from the highest point, I can measure it against my torker ii + Fitech setup on my 69 bird. I'd be able to give you an idea of if you're going to clear the hood or not.
By the looks of it, I'm leaning towards no, but always worth a measurement.

I think it fits just measured my rpm Holley and air cleaner and it's about 13.5" plus about 1/2" above the air cleaner to the bottom
Of the repro 400 hood Might need thin air cleaner set up but I think it will Go. Will test fit before plumbing it that's for sure

Not sure exactly where you're measuring from. With my fitech and air cleaner (1/2" drop base, 3" element) I have a bit over 14" from the bottom of the valley pan at the distributor to the top of the air cleaner.
If you're measuring in a similar place, you probably do have room.

I test fit it on my 69 bird with the TA hood.If I took out the upper RA pan it was REALLY tight to fit a pair of 750 AFBs,I ended up selling the bird so never went forward.Have a Xtra intake I wont be using,my other 2 cars already have Bathtubs on them.tom

By the way we made the ports to STOCK D port heads.Better to take out material then trying to go back and add material.Lots of meat to do it.tom
