Default A quick, easy wire question

Hi all, long time no post, I guess that means everything is going well with my project.

Can someone inform me about this wire on my 69 LeMans that runs from the engine bay side of the heater core (near firewall and passenger side fender) and up to the voltage regulator? It connects by a blade connection. Possibly juice for the blower motor? Thanks for your help.

I don't have a '69 LeMans wiring diagram to look at, but most GM cars of that era had a separate wire that ran from an "always hot" source (like your voltage regulator "bat" terminal), through an in-line fuse (usually about 30 amp) and then to a relay terminal. The relay (coil) was controlled by the high speed of the heater/AC fan switch. The other terminal of the relay went directly to the fan motor. That way the fan switch didn't have to be capable of the high current demand of the fan in the "high" position.

Yes. That is the blower motor wire and it goes where you pictured on the blower motor.
