The square tanks may not fit as well as the factory shaped ones, but on all the 3 row champions & one 4 row I have used or helped install in friends cars they fit in the rubber isolators & shroud without any issues or mods.

The tanks sits right in the center of the isolators... the very ends of them dont curve around & hug the tank as well as factory shaped tanks but thats a non issue in my experience, the radiator is fully supported by the rubber pads & fits the shroud on 2nd gen firebirds very good, no cobbling to make it fit.

But as far as the radiator goes, I’d like atleast a 3 row radiator, aluminum if possible, and drop in ready. Motor is not a stock dropped in 400. It’s a 69 YS code 400, bored .030” over, Spotts Performance HCP01 cam and lifters, edelbrock performer, Holley 800 double pumper spreadbore. Longtubes, soon I’m hoping to get tribal tubes tri y’s to make me a set of his headers!! Just looking for a nice good sized (plenty enough to keep it cool) radiator to put in the car. Also was wondering what’s everyone’s opinion on the best high performance transmission filter I could get for my th400 as well. Thanks for any help any of you guys may can give me! It would be greatly appreciated!!!
Sorry this is a bit of an older thread - how do you like the Spotts HCP01 cam-

I am going with that for a stroked 389 (447 cid) he is building for me. Was trying to get feed back on the cam. Currently my car has a stock '65 389 tripower with his 068HL cam I like the manners of it but its a tad mild, was looking for a tad wilder cam with out going nuts. Very mild weekend cruiser type build
