i have a 55 setup, unless your looking to do a conversion somehow

At his point, probably want to explore conversion first. Will a '55 fit a '57, and what is its condition?

I think it will be about the same for 57 except, the 57 already has a rag joint (55/56 don't). That should make it easier to do.

55 and 57 frames are almost the same. The 57 steering box mounting holes in the frame may be the same as 55, if not they are probably close.
