Default Fan Clutch - 72 GTO
Does the large plastic fan shroud need to be removed to replace the fan clutch?

Manual talks about the fan clutch and how it works but didnt see a section on servicing one?

Planning on replacing with a Hayden fan clutch, have had good experience with #2747 on my 65s, any thoughts or suggestions?

No, the fan shroud can stay in place. BTW if you ever take the shroud out, the fan has to come off first anyway.
