No, I would not say that.

I'd miss the discussion entirely because I'd be off looking at the GTOs.

Beings this thread was brought to the top by a dirt bag spammer.

A couple of years ago. I had a 1 option '72 T/A. 1 and only option was California emissions.

I think the Firebird windshield is standard (at least in 1970)?

No. Notice that example shows that TA was optioned with A/C, which required another option of tinted glass on all windows. So the build sheets will automatically show tinted windshield as part of the all tinted glass "package".

If it was a Firebird that would indeed be lite. You did get the TA option with all the std stuff for that. most important option in my book.
Just saying

Typically a No to Low option bird was a " floor plan" car which was shipped to be used in media as a" price point" car. Most if those were not in front lot or in a showroom.
In Canada, Any letter " O" meant a $$$ Increase.
Canada would even take a package option, and line item the involved items in said package to add $$$.

Thank you for this.

Believe it or not, but I replaced my cars original untinted windshield circa 1997;
An idiot on a riding mower didn't have the mower set low enough, and sent a big rock into my windshield.
