Did you also have athread on CP?
When I had some GTO parts for sale a local guy called me to see if I had some ram air FB parts. This is probably 2 or more years ago. We got toalking and he bought a 69 Firebird vert from a local garage. All he wanted was a stout street car. He ran ths PHS for the heck of it and it turned out to be a raiv car. When he called me he was in the process of collecting the parts he needed for the nut and bolt resto. Some time 6-8 months had passed and I spoke to another "exotic" pontiac guy out of Westchester or the Danbury CT area who knew this guy and knew the car. This guy brokered the deal to send this raiv vert to well known Pontiac collector who paid 27k for the car rolling. NO raiv parts at all, nothing. The new owner claimed to have found the correct number matching engine. However the guy in CT who owned knew were the original motor sat and it wasn't for sale. This is my undersanding of this particular car. I do not know the color combo or other options. HTH- JOhn |

I think that was the car that Chuck Surette found, it was painted red, but an orig. midnite green car. That car changed hands, & now back in Indiana. My 69 raiv convert is a silver loaded 4spd. My friend got it out of northern Ontario, then I ended up with it. I think these cars are great & grossly unrated for now.

I knew of one in Duval WA that a guy picked up for $2,000, sold it to another guy for $12,000 and then he traded or sold it to someone else . It did not have an engine but was truly a RAIV Convert PHS documented.

The Northern cars (North of Sudbury, ON.) can be quite a find, as those guys had an even shorter season to use them than here in Toronto, resulting in low mileage cars. Typically didn't use salt on the snow covered roads, just sand so the metal was good, even if they saw some winter.
