So this is crazy..... I’ve wanted one of these since I was 17 in 1993. I worked at a Pontiac dealership in the summer washing cars and one of the techs (I think his name was a Dave) drove a 72 Formula 455. Can’t be many of these..... imagine my surprise to see this car is in San Antonio where I worked at Park Pontiac. Has to be the same car.

wow, proves they are still out there! Too bad the original engine is gone but still worthy of a full restoration. The Sundance Orange with beige deluxe interior is a great color combination. Looks like an original ram air breather, Winter's intake and possibly one or more '71 #197 head(s) in one of the pics, I can just see the round port style center ports with an X on the one.

looks like it may have been relisted with a new number...
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Pontia...0AAOSw9zxbRtpV

looks like it sold initially for $11,000, then relisted twice with 2 different auction numbers but oddly identical bids and timeframes, the 2nd one saying no longer available and the 3rd shown above looking like it's still available, so I'd proceed with caution

IDK what's going on w/ eBay? When an auction ends and you click on the link, it takes you to a different auction. This has happened with several auctions I have been following recently. In my history, the Formula auction ended at $11K.

Now it's listed again, with MORE pics.. So the first auction had shill bidders bidding it up. Sorry, when that happens, I'm OUT.

Contact the guy, he’s clearly looking for someone to make an offer

When it takes you to the page with the new listing, the word “listing” is a hyperlink that will take you to the original listing. Just click on it.
