66 GTO factory pinstripe service bulletin
Years ago I got my hands on the info for 65 full size cars and GTO’s. It showed exact specs for the stripe widths, dimensions for locating the stripe(s) relative to body lines, fender peaks, etc. I think there were 2 pages and they included drawings, diagrams, etc. Does anybody have a copy of this same info for the 66 GTO they could post here?

Ain't got no factory bulletin, but I do have pics of my then-original-paint '66 GTO built in Fremont 5th week of July. I documented this back in 1990 or so. PM me your email if you want a slightly-higher resolution jpg.

I looked through all my SBN sheets and found nothing related to Pin Stripping.
These are some file images I have of a few OE '66 stripe details. This just gives an idea and you can also see how these will vary from car to car.

I don't know if this helps, these pics are of my winter beater back in the early 70s. Original paint and stripe car. As a painter, I always masked the stripes at 3/32 wide on these single stripe cars to match the adjacent panel. Back then, 3M had masking tape with different width pull outs to duplicate factory stripes. These pics show the general location of the stripe.

66 GTO factory pinstripe service bulletin
Appreciate the photos. They show the expected variations from plant to plant and probably even from operator to operator. Been searching on line and finding the info for 1965 that I already have, but nothing yet for 66. I would have thought Pontiac would have created the same info for any year they offered a pinstripe. Maybe they did, but the 65 version is the only one that survived. Even that seems hard to believe given the level of minute detail on just about every aspect of life that exists on line.
