Default Rod Stewart got himself in a little trouble......

The kind street department in the English (?) City that he lives in, didn’t seem terribly interested in fixing any pot holes in the street near his house. Soooo, he and some friends took matters into their own hands, and filled the huge holes, themselves!!!!
Dad gum street looks like a mine field, not just “ regular” potholes. There’s a video on the media, maybe someone can like it, I can’t!!!
Thanks

I watched a video of that ... first of all, who the heck knew he was still alive, I thought he died a year or two ago. Second, the dude looked great in the video and did not appear to be a stranger to using a shovel. I suspect he might be a normal guy in his time off.

In the UK you probably need 16 different permits to own a tractor.

He stays in shape, but i doubt he plays soccer as much anymore. Heard he was motivated to keep his ferrari from getting chocked up.

What I like about Ol Rod is his quote regarding marriage.

“Instead of getting married again, I'm going to find a woman I don't like and just give her a house.”

Rod is a huge model railroading buff as well. He has an extremely large and well detailed layout in his California home:

I would agree he's a normal guy in his time off. May even have a Pontiac in a barn somewhere.

Gives me hope seeing guys like him that have in them the ingredients of a normal person. I think a person without hobbies (or interests) is a person without curiosity, and people without curiosity are people .. well, that I have a very hard time having an intelligent conversation with.

He is a scrappy old guy, not afraid to do a little work and get into a bar fight. I recall he and his son got into a scrape a few years ago and were arrested and had to pay some fines and such. Have seen him a few times in concert, tons of energy and put on a great show both times. Go old guys!

He's 77 years old, worth $300 million and he's shoveling rock into potholes. Good or him. A man being a man.

Didnt care for his music back then. However a guy that has train hobby and works cant be bad. Get penndot to fix the holes, they'll leave the water in the hole ,the asphalt will displace the h2o! We had pothole years ago in front of our home,I brought asphalt home and fixed it after we called and called dot. I use to work for them and couldnt get help. I guess I'm not important politically.

Idk about the rest of the US but here in New England we have had potholes that would break the A arms off your Pontiac. There’s some I’ve seen as deep as a foot and 1.5 ft opening!
I’ve never seen as many or as deep pot holes as I’ve seen in Connecticut this year.
So I totally understand him getting out and fixing them himself. I’d do the same
