Default SBC in 1980 Grand Lemans

heres my grand lemans with a 383 sbc,th350w/stall and kit,and a ford 9"rear w/3.77 gears,fun street car that suprises alot of people.Click image for larger version

Thumbs up Very Nice Looking Car....

What was the original motor? The only reason I ask is because up here LeMans of this vintage had optional SBC either 267 or 305, Grand Ams were sold here with Poncho power...301's.

It does good,i had it at the car craft summer nationals all weekend and it represented itself well at the night time cruise.

...wheezy. Eight cylinders of good old American cast iron play a tune more to my liking!

Default No replacement for displacement.

My brother in law has an 1985 T-Type,I know not the best year,with some mods and really not much of a challenge at BIR show n go last month,nice car though.
