drag shocks
just curious what the best brand of drag shocks are? or the best reasonably priced i should say. this is for a 2nd gen firebird, just looking to hook a little better than what the tight road race shocks on it do now. & if anyone has some used ones for sale i'd be interested. thanks

Best bang for the buck,I'd say Calvert 90/10 fronts and Strange -or- AFCO D/A's for the rear.
The absolute best = Penske or JRI,,,but these are big $$$$. Next best are probably AFCO & Santhuff, still not cheap, but they're very good shocks. There are other budget shock options for the rear, but odds are better than average you would be spending that money again sooner or later upgrading to something like what I recommended above. The Calverts are the best bang for buck at about 60.00 a shock Here is a vid of my Ventura with the Calvert shocks. 1.37 60 foot. Engine is in my sig.
http://youtu.be/4LeGIprmWzM I have Afco bnc front shocks on it now and they kick ass for controlling the wheelstand. |
