Default Framing John Delorean (or maybe just Framing Delorean)

Anybody seen this movie? I gather it has not been released for theaters: only on line, subscription, or whatever the h—l it is called nowadays.

I remember hearing about it when it was released(?) - I had thought the discussion going on here on this forum about it was because it was in production and/or going to theatres;
I was reading my latest issue of Smoke Signals this past weekend, and read that it was an Amazon Prime release, and apparently streaming since June(!!?).

I have prime at the moment, so I looked for it, but couldn't find it.

I have no clue what's going on with it.

But I am interested in hearing replies to this thread;
Alec Baldwin can be a typical "hollywood" moron, but he can act, I haven't due cause at this time to boycott a movie/show because he is in it.

Cristina Ferrare wasn't all that "racy", but she was good looking.

She was the female co-host on the Hallmark channel's TV show "Home and Family" for a time back in the 80s..... after he died. She didn't say much about him at all on the show. Haven't seen her since that time.

I just checked Prime and they are renting it for $6.99. I searched for "framing".

Haven't gotten around to seeing it. Probably because I can't get it up on my older generation TV set. My TV has Netflix right on the remote, but Prime I'd have to rig something up.

It's not just you. Could be Canadian content requirements or some such nonsense, but selection here is less than stateside. HTH

Driven (2019)

A new movie about DeLorean that was just released last week. From the movie trailer above, it looks like a nice 66 GTO plays a prominent role

I found Framing John DeLorean on my firestick and watched it last night. I found it slow paced, jumbled and factually inaccurate, but that’s just me. It wasn’t made by car guys and Baldwin phoned in his performance. In one scene they’re pointing at a 64 GTO with modern wheels, chrome valve covers and air cleaner talking about transforming it into a GTO. I guess they couldn’t find a Lemans. Another scene DeLorean is trying to sell the GM brass on the GTO. he’s showing a movie stating “this is the GTO but a 60 full-size is shown. Footage of his son and the 2 trials were the best parts.

I just watched Driven on Apple TV last night. Entertaining movie but A hatchet job on DeLorean.

Maybe he merited the way he is portrayed? I don’t know much about him but he did seem to have an arrogant ego.

Move starts bad when we are told it’s the late 70’s and the family car of the star is an 89 olds wagon!

He took his Delorean Back To The Future and brought the 89 car back with him?
