Cheap air fares - refundable tickets?
Traveling to Indiana/Chicago next week, looking for the best deal on airfare. Is it still possible to use Expedia, Orbitz, etc and get a refundable or change-able fare?
Any other tips? |

Check www.kayak.com and www.sidestep.com
They let you input just about every option regarding your ticket and then direct you to the correct website for each airline. THey give many more options than Expedia, Priceline, and Travelocity. |

There are a bunch of search engine or middle men that do this...bookingbuddy.com, travelation.com, cheaptickets.com.
I used Orbitz for my recent flight to San Fran, was just booking another to Memphis and decided to give the local travel agency a shot...they beat my best internet price by $50. I'd rather give my money to a local...even if a little more. JMO. I used Liberty Travel, and they may have a branch local to you? Good luck. Adam
